FREE BURMA - Ongoing Battle for Freedom.
What happened in 2007 will NOT be forgotten!
PLEASE HELP - An ENTIRE COUNTRY is being held prisoner.

Information, images and facts, including list of countries doing business in
Burma, thereby supporting one of the most brutal military juntas in the world.

"Please use your liberty to promote ours."
- Aung San Suu Kyi

This is Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace Prize recipient, who won a landslide election in 1990.
She has been repeatedly imprisoned and lives under house arrest by the military junta.

PLEASE HELP BURMA.

WHY IS THIS COUNTRY ANY DIFFERENT TO DAFUR OR N.KOREA OR IRAQ?:
1) What country shuts down all phones and internet communication to hide the atrocities of what the military dictatorship is doing to their own people?
2) What country cleans up blood stains, picks up bullet shells and disposes of bodies (some still alive) via cremation, to cover up their actions?
3) What country massacres monks who protest in peace?

Over 50 million people live in daily terror.
They are Buddhist. They do not use guns to fight back!

Murdered body of monk, September 30th 2007
Bloggers report untold numbers have been murdered these past few days.

Burma, end of September 2007
Buddhist monks peacefully protesting just a few days ago are now being beaten with iron batons, locked up and murdered. Many have been stripped of their robes, clothed in civilian apparel, tortured and murdered. Many are being sent to detention camps. Thousands of monks are missing - news reports from courageous bloggers and two newspapers, say they are dead. Broken bodies of both monks and civilians are being dumped in rivers, buried in mass graves, or cremated reportedly still alive.

September 27th 2007
Those who dare protest risk being beaten or murdered.
Fresh blood stains the ground as well as the hearts of those responsible.
International companies directly and indirectly fund this continuing wickedness.

FACT:  Soldiers are sometimes drugged on Ecstasy, Heroin and Methamphetamines so they are numb to the atrocities they commit against their own people and against Buddhism.

September 24th 2007
Across Burma, tens of thousands of brave monks marched for peace and for freedom.
What has happened to these thousands of monks subsequently beaten and arrested?

SUNDAY, 30 SEPTEMBER 2007
Message from inside Burma:
We just got phone call with our sister living in Yangon about a few hours ago.
We saw on BBC world, saying that 200 monks were arrested. The true picture is far worse!!!!!!!!!

For one instance, the monastery at an obscure neighborhood of Yangon, called Ngwe Kyar Yan (on Wei-za-yan-tar Road, Yangon) had been raided early this morning.

A troop of lone-tein (riot police comprised of paid thugs) protected by the military trucks, raided the monastery with 200 studying monks. They systematically ordered all the monks to line up and banged and crushed each one's head against the brick wall of the monastery. One by one, the peaceful, non resisting monks, fell to the ground, screaming in pain. Then, they tore off the red robes and threw them all in the military trucks (like rice bags) and took the bodies away.

The head monk of the monastery, was tied up in the middle of the monastery, tortured , bludgeoned, and later died the same day, today. Tens of thousands of people gathered outside the monastery, warded off by troops with bayoneted rifles, unable to help their helpless monks being slaughtered inside the monastery. Their every try to forge ahead was met with the bayonets.

When all is done, only 10 out of 200 remained alive, hiding in the monastery. Blood stained everywhere on the walls and floors of the monastery.

Please tell your audience of the full extent of the fate of the monks please please!!!!!!!!!!!!
'Arrested' is not enough expression. They have been bludgeoned to death !!!!!!

September 25th 2007
Many monasteries are now empty as of October 1st.
Where are the monks?

Message to the millions of people around the world
that want to help free Burma:

Tens of thousands of you are saying "What can we do? How can we help?'".
No-one really knows.

a) Bloggers MUST continue to get photos and video sent out of Burma so the world can see. In 1988 we did not have such use of the internet and cell phones. Now we do and Burma will no longer we swept under the carpet and forgotten. Now there is no turning back.

b) Many people want to boycott the Beijing Olympics 2008. Do you honestly think China will allow a democracy on their doorstep after what they did to Tibet and the Tibetan people?! A boycott of the Olympics will make a statement and cause the Chinese to lose face (which they have already done), but will it free the Burmese people? Take whatever action your heart tells you.

c) One choice is to pressure the companies who do business with the Burmese government. No surprise, money is apparently more important to the companies listed below, than rape, torture, mass murder, slave labor, children drugged and forced to become soldiers, hundreds of villages being destroyed, environmental devastation and the complete suppression of an entire country on a DAILY basis.

Until the Burmese people are set free, companies can chose to cease business with Burma and thereby cut funding of the Burmese dictatorship.
1) Consumers need to stop supporting companies that directly or indirectly finance the Burmese military junta.
2) Email these companies and tell them how you feel. Link to company details and email address follows after the list below.

REPORTS FROM SECRET BLOGGERS INSIDE BURMA:

Badly wounded people burnt alive at YaeWay Crematorium
It is reported from several different sources that about 200 unknown dead bodies. The worse part is some very badly wounded people were burned alive without medical treatment, nor contacting the victims' families. It was confirmed by a staff at the Yayway Crematorium.

Below is a transcript of a phone conversation with a Burmese in Yangon:
"Er... they shot... people got killed.  Er... but it seems like it wasn't as bad as yesterday in terms of number of deaths, however we will know
the accurate picture tomorrow.  Er... ln another disturbing news is that er... I would like to know if you would inform BBC and CNN about?
(sob!!!) They burned the injured protesters/civilian people in the YaeWay Crematorium... Er... the staff from crematorium told this,
crying, to the people who went to the funeral service.  Please let this known to CNN and BBC."

NikNayman: Myanmar police force has given orders now to trace and arrest the famous blogger NikNayman, who has been reporting detail news about Myanmar.

Ko Hla: Monks, who were captured on the September 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th for a peaceful praying protest, are now being detained in Kyite-Ka-San Horse Racing Arena. The monks are not allowed to wear robes. They are forced to squat down as prisoners under the sun during the day-time and are forced to change into civilian clothes.

Evil Burmese General Than Shwe, forbids dissent. He is afraid of
the monks power and has now chosen to arrest, torture or kill them.
He has also sent untold numbers to northern Burma slave labor camps.

BURMA - LAND OF FEAR
John Pilger's 1996 secretly shot video documentary.
Burma, a prison without bars. MUST WATCH.

Mandalay: Junta is hiring people for 1000 to 2000 kyats (US$0.80 to US$1.50 at market rates) per day for their pro-junta movements, such as attacking democrat activists and to eliminate evidences (such as collecting bullet shells and cleaning up bloodshed, etc.).

Myo Thant: After the brutal attack at Ngwe Kyar Yan Buddhist Monastery by the dictator's troops 3 days ago, the Abbot (chief monk) has now passed away. Now it has been urgently repaired, and even the Abbot (chief monk) position is replaced with an unknown monk, by the government authorities.

KoHla: Confirmed news by phone - In Mawlamyaing, Pha-An, Taungoo, Myawaddy, military regime is forcing people to gather and show support for them this evening. Every household is forced to supply 3 persons. Similar things are forced to do so in other cities too. Most phone lines in cities outside Yangon are offline.

Take records of Dead Bodies in the River: Burmese democratic activists have announced to inform and to take records and photographs of any corpses at the lower delta of Yangon River and Hlaing River in Yangon.

Ko Hla: A high school student was shot down in South Oakkalapa Township yesterday. The student1s parents managed to get his body but the military search the whole quarter and took back the body by force later.

KoHla: On the night of 29 sept, at 3rd and 4th Ward in Tharkayta, civilians stood guard on the roads near to monastery in order to prevent the soldiers from capturing the monks. However, the soldiers came through nearby river and captured them. One male was shot to death as he told the troops not to capture the monks. His wife was beaten. The troops grabbed the little monks (child monks) by the legs and threw them into the trucks.

Burmese Government alert about Cameras - Ko Hla: Today, there were troops in the downtown Yangon. They search every bag and if someone got caught with camera in it, they would arrest him.

The Military Junta are desperate to hide all evidence from the outside world.
They forced people to attend staged pro govermnet rallies for the benefit of
the visiting UN ambassador, disposed of bodies and cleaned up blood.

MILITARY:
FACT: There are more child soldiers in Burma than anywhere else on earth - over 70,000, most of them forcibly recruited - reported by Human Rights watch in 2002. The military are completely corrupt, brutal and immune to emotion. Rape is commonly used as a weapon.

HEALTH CARE:
FACT: There is none. Burma's health system is the world's second worst. HIV/AIDS is spreading rapidly, and malaria, tuberculosis, leprosy, maternal mortality and malnutrition are pervasive. Organizations such as the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders do not have axcess.

FOR THE PEOPLE OF BURMA:
You are not alone - Photos of protests from around the world.

BLACKLIST - of companies doing business in Burma. AVOID them.

General Than Shwe is so afraid of tiny, fragile but brave and courageous
Aung San Suu Kyi, that he has kept her locked up since 1989. He has been
known to leave a room if her name is mentioned.
